The Grapes of Jazz were formed in April 2003 by Dave White (keyboards). Other current members of the group are Gary King (drums, percussion), Tim Savage (alto & soprano saxophone, guitar), and Mark Weaver (bass).

Unlike many jazz groups The Grapes of Jazz explore all instrumental styles of music that belong to the jazz "family" including standards, bebop, hard-bop, soul jazz, fusion, blues, funk, and progressive rock.

Although we play a wide variety of music we can tailor our sets to suit the occasion whether it be a concert, an office party, a wedding, a cafe, or a special event. Please see the "Calendar" section of our web site for sample set lists and for upcoming appearances by the band.

Members of the group are active in various ministries (musical and otherwise) at Vineyard Church of Columbus and Vineyard Church of Delaware County. We are blessed to have been given the opportunity to glorify God through our collective musical gifts, and likewise to bless you through the wonderful music of jazz.
